No Rumor or anything even out there- but i know the Wiz are going to try and unload him with Wall and Heinrich on their squad..

Wiz need help down low and we could unload Diop and Diaw on them..

PG: Arenas - DJ

SG: Jax - Henderson

SF: Wallace - ???

PF: Thomas - Brown

C: Chandler - Nazr

If the Wiz need help down low then Diaw and Black Shrek aren't going to do much for them. Diaw is more of a point forward and Diop is well, Diop. Bobcats Baseline had a very similar trade as one of their offseason scenarios, and I have to say that I don't like it. I'd rather wait out Diaw and Diop than put faith in Arenas' knees. Besides, what happens when Jackson finds the guns that Arenas has in his locker?

We would be a billion bucks over the luxury tax with Arenas's huge contract.

if we clear Diop and Diaw- Arenas' contract would be fine.. anyways, i kinda agree that I would rather hold onto Diaw than gamble on Arenas- even if it means getting rid of Diop

No it wouldn't. Arenas will make $17,730,694 next year. Diaw and Diop together will make $15,478,600 next year. The difference in those two salaries, assuming we re-sign Thomas, would push us into the luxury tax.
