Questions about internet speed...

 what are u thinking then?
I'm thinking I'm getting ass raped every month. The thing that pisses me off is that there are some cable options within 1 mile of where I live. I think my road is the only road in the county that is stuck in 1920. I guess I should be happy we don't have to use morse code.

I actually expected a bit better on the speed test, but somebody may be downloading or uploading something that I don't know about...

We're on TWC Business Fiber 10Mbps/10Mbps...

Edit:

Ran it again with a little better results... I like the graphics on that site.

Yeah, the D/L is OK... plenty fast for what we are really "supposed" to use it for. The upload is nice, we've got that so that our other offices and clients can download from the FTP at a reasonable rate and the fiber really cuts down on packet loss. We learned pretty quickly that you can't run an FTP site on coaxial cable.

Our VA office has 7Mbps download via DSL and can pull nearly that off our FTP... helpful when you have 25GB to download overnight, which we do often.

If I upload/download to an offsite FTP, I usually get the full 10Mbps both ways unless someone else is pulling something.
