2010 Orlando Summer League Game 2: Charlotte Bobcats vs Ok City Thunder

LOL at anyone who makes absolute statements about either Pargo or Collins after two summer league games.

I hope one or both keep improving and can stay with the team and help us this season, because it looks like we will need some pg help.

Collins should have been a 2nd round pick, imo and he could turn out to be a steal.

1. Anyone can dunk. Pargo catching a lob pass doesn't impress me.

2. Pargo scoring the game winning basket after almost turning the ball over on a play that was not designed for him that he had to salvage after fumbling the ball doesn't impress me. He's an erratic player with no court presence, and he runs his team poorly.

He's a back up, and that's all he'll ever be, which is fine. He'll still play and get paid.

He had three notable moments yesterday...the lob pass from Henderson, the lob pass to the mouthy Tucker, and the last second shot that he almost screwed up.

I've seen all I need to see. It's called "INTUITION", idiot. If you lack it, that's your prerogative. I don't need to wait until the end of Summer League to see all he's CAPABLE of doing to understand whether he has control of a team or an offense...he does not. Any NBA-caliber player can make a play, but can a point guard control an offense. Pargo can possibly relieve a player who can.

Besides, when Rod Higgins was interviewed at Halftime, it was all Collins all the time. Not once did he mention Pargo, because they know exactly what I know.

If I was GM, what I'd do is understand that even though he's been in the league for a few years, Augustin still makes rookie mistakes and has less potential than Collins, so if I can package Augustin as a part of a deal to either get me a dominant interior player or free up some cash, I'd do so, and I'd sign both Collins and Pargo.

Teams go with rookie PGs all the time, and Augustin isn't anything special to begin with.

Fixing the inside is more important to this team than a PG. You can make it through this season with those two guys, and if neither becomes anything special, then draft one next season.

P.S. Once I end a conversation, I don't go back to it. Any comments that were made about anything I said on any thread, including this one, I'll never see, because the truth has already been stated by me, regardless of whether you agree or not, you'll eventually know the same, once reality catches up to you.

Somebody needs to get laid. Funny that you say you never go back to a post after finishing it, yet you went back and edited this post 40 minutes after originally posting it.

1. Sure, anyone can dunk, but not every point guard has the ability to put the ball in the basket especially like that. It's a bonus when your point guard can make plays like that because honestly everyone loves a little guy. I.E. Spud Webb and Nate Robinson.

2. The mark of a good point guard is creating a play for himself when his teammates are not available, which is exactly what Jeremy Pargo did. This is one thing that most point guards can't do. Another bonus was that instead of settling for the outside shot he took it to the hole to increase his percentage of making the last second gem.

3. Pargo may have been a back-up before but on this Bobcats team, with only one point guard in D.J. Augustin; well you never know what can happen.

4. Three notable moments plus 3 assists and 7 points helped the Bobcats get the win which is what matters.

5. Please don't quote Kelly Clarkson songs in your argument, you look like a fool with your pants on the ground.

6. I didn't know Rod Higgins was the coach.

7. They will sign both Pargo and Collins regardless and your right Augustin may be traded. Valid point, that is your first one since you got here.

8. At this time priority is in the front court because Tyrus Thomas may be given a large contract by the Nets, but that does not mean the Bobcats can make it through the entire season with Collins and Pargo.

9. P.S. I strive to be perfect so when I see a mistake I have made I fix it. I don't settle for being second, which is something you will always be.

Thank you for tuning in to this episode of bashing EC0123456789 because he is a dumb@ss. Join us next time when EC0123456789 makes an absurd statement such as Al Jefferson is better than Dwight Howard.

Thanks everybody. Peace Out.

You clearly don't know what anything, so I don't even reading your posts. Don't know what you said there...don't care.

It will be as I said. When reality catches up to you, don't forget where you heard it, know-nothing.

Just got laid before I made that post.

I actually edited it several times in the 40 minutes after I originally posted it and the final edit 40 minutes after, know-nothing.

I guess LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Kobe Bryant don't impress you.

No one "IMPRESSES" me. Everyone is either capable of doing something or they aren't. They are good enough or not. Why should it "IMPRESS" me when they are simply doing something they are capable of doing?

It doesn't take long to know what a player is CAPABLE of doing.

Pargo is not CAPABLE of running a team anywhere but ragged.
