NFLN's best in the biz (top 5 at each position)

Pat Willis is the clear cut best MLB in the NFL.

Clear cut??

Ehh...

Beason is better in coverage, meaning it can't be "clear cut"

I'm not sure whose better between the two.

Any Panther fan will tell you it's Beason, and any Niner fan will tell you Willis, but I don't think anyone whose truly being honest with themselves will say it's clear cut.

The two of them are simply too talented.

I personally feel that when it's all said and done, we might be calling Beason the greatest player to ever strap on a Panther uniform. The guy is already taking over as the face of the franchise, and the fact that he has a great TV personality will certainly help that.

That killer suit he's wearing certainly doesn't hurt either.

Beason is probably a better in coverage than Willis but Willis is just a monster. Willis also gets billions of chances for sacks than Beason. Beason might get the change this season though. I remember them saying Davis would be counted on more to generate the pass rush.

And the Beast hasn't been?

I never said that.

As far as their careers go they are about the same but Willis has the advantage of being more physically gifted and in a system that lets him blitz more often than Beason. Once you get in the Top 5 especially with those guys it's just being nit picky trying to crown a #1 anyway. They are separated by small degrees of awesomeness.

Safties: (by Rod Woodson)

5) Antrel Rolle

4) Nick Collins

3) Adrian Wilson

2) Troy Polamalu

1) Ed Reed

In terms of Playmaking I would do this ~

1)Troy Polamalu - He's all over the field, how often do you hear his name each defensive series, Reed makes one or two plays, Polamalu anchors great defenses.

2)Oshiomogho Atogwe - He's on the shittest defenses possible and he makes plays, I wonder what would happen if you put him on a good defense, look at his 2007;2008 and 2009 stats, we can only gues...

3)Adrian Wilson - He's pretty much a linebacker for the Cardinals, but now that the Cardinals have got someone like Rhodes, he can play a little more in coverage. He's consistent and a baller.

4)Ed Reed - He's often injured and the best of his days are past, not hating on him because he plays for a scumbag organisation but he's not the playmaker he was 4-5 years ago. Was he even in Pittsburgh for the AFC Championship game lol? I know #43 was.

5)Nick Collins - He's a playmaker for the Packers might not get the spotlight because of Charles Woodson, but he's a good safety.

I'm looking to see Charles Godfrey, Antre Rolle, Eric Berry, Earl Thomas and Michael Griffin somewhere on that list in the future, all have the potential.

P.S. Woodson is a douche bag, maybe I'm biased but you can't leave Casey Hampton off the top 5 DT list, what an asswipe, I'm glad he never won a Super Bowl with us.
