NFLN's best in the biz (top 5 at each position)

ommissions: Brett Favre (duke's says bc he doesn't attend TC), Philip Rivers (3 playoff wins, easy division, rode LT--Duke's words...), Aaron Rodgers (1 playoff win)

LOL at PR riding LT. I guess you can get farther on the back of a 700 yard rusher than I thought. Of course this year will be his litmus test if VJ holds out, but I think he'll make Floyd a 1000 yard guy. After Brees and Manning though, it is a virtual crapshoot. I'd put Brady @ 3, Rivers 4, and Rodgers 5.

For the list of top TE. I think Cooley should have made that list, even though he was hurt last year the guys a beast. As far as top qb... McNabb has alwalys been overrated to me... He is injury prone, and anytime he doesnt perform well he comes up with an excuse. Rivers and Rodgers I think are better, Rodgers more than Rivers. He took a beating last year, and still had a great year and stood strong. He's may have had two or more wins, and perhaps a superbowl if they'd made the call at the end of last years playoff game, where he was facemasked as he was brought down.

My Top 5 Running Backs would be ~

1. DeAngelo Williams (So Underated, So humble and give him more carries, he had 17 touches a game and had 18 rushing touchdowns in 08, He didn't have as good season in 2009 but he's so consistent he still carries the football for over a 5.0 average.)

2. Steven Jackson. He's the only decent part of the Rams offense, but won't last much longer.

3. Chris Johnson. I expect him to not be in the top 5 next year, Look at Jamal Lewis' production after his 2003 season, a huge drop off and Johnson is all about the money.

4. Adrian Peterson. All Fumbles, fixes his fumbling and he will be a top 2 back. Will it get fixed though?

5. Ray Rice, If the Ravens keep using him the way he's being used (60-70% of offense) he wont last a few more seasons he will be used all up.

On the brink. Jonathan Stewart, Frank Gore, Maurice Jones-Drew & Michael Turner

idk. i think he was top 5 last year, and will be even better this year. i see desean jackson as a clone of 2005 steve smith.

I feel the two are not even close. 2005 Steve's stats are far greater with a much lesser QB and a weaker receiving core around him. Plus the Eagles throw all the damn time vs our style of John fox offense has always been what 55 run 45% pass? somthing like that I think.

To be honest I would still take steve over him. 94 ypg with matt starting which is roughly 1500ypg a season.

I guess that is about right. most would put Bob Sanders on that list, but he is injured alot. maybe Antoine Bethea, Darren Sharper, O.J. Atogwe, and maybe Brian Dawkins.
