How was the tailgate?

In the grand scheme of things, I think there are more important things in all of our lives than last night's game. But how was the tailgate? Did you guys get to enjoy yourselves? That's what it's all about...spending good time with good people.

Great tailgate. Prime rib was amazing, huge crowd, lots of good times.

I made it there about 6:15 - wish I could have come sooner. Met a couple of people I had not met previously and saw many familiar faces. Was so crowded that I couldn't make it across to speak to some of them.

Bo - you were someone I saw from across the parking lot, Zod too. And I saw rhino's truck, but not him. Since I arrived so late, he may have already started making their way in.

Oh - hey NLTF - you probably would have appreciated this. The Harding Band performed at halftime and probably about 6:45ish. They all come marching down the sidewalk next to the tailgate on 3rd with just a drum cadence - turned on Poplar - and then stopped on Poplar and performed some. I didn't realize they were performing because I didn't follow them when they passed us. I did pass the area when we went to the stadium.

Did you ever see the Panthers drumline this year?

Greg was directing it and Matt was playing in it. They were at 2 games this year, not sure exactly when they performed, though I know they did outside the stadium before the game. Don't know if they made it inside or not.

I think the Panthers just wanted to try the idea out.
