i don't fault davidson for putting the game in delhomme's hands. the fact is, if we won last night, we were going to be playing ny or phi. davidson knew if delhomme couldn't throw against the cardinals, we had no chance to beat those two teams. our defense is a joke compared to those two teams. the offense carried the team all year.

He has put together the best offense the Panthers have seen. The Panthers would keep that side of the ball, and Davidson could find a young aggressive defensive play caller who will have the boys swarming to the ball with a chip on their shoulder.

How I long to see a mean Panthers defense who feel insulted when even 5 yards is given up on a play.

I know, because you know that firing Trgo won't do much because he is just running Fox's defense. You don't usually see the coordinator fired when that coordinator is the head coaches specialty.

I'd just hire one of the assistants from the Eagles or Giants.

I am serious about it. We would keep consistency in our offense, our defense does not need consistency, they need an enema.

Turgo must go. If it means Fox as well then so be it. But I would be OK with Fox and a DC with the talent of a Jack Del Rio. It must happen. Let's not forget though that Davidson only called 15 running plays last night. Huge fug up.

That's not what happened. We gave up on the run even though it was working fine. DWill set out for a bunch of snaps too, makes no sense. I think we need a new HC and then let that guy figure out if Davidson/Turd is what he wants. I think the Fox and Delhomme experiment are over. It makes no sense to have a dominate run game, good O-line, and a talented defense just to have a mediocre QB that can't even win the big games anymore.

I think it would work.I think it is time for an offensive minded HC.Defense is great and obviously neccesary but it will only get you so far IMO.we need the type of offense that will score quickly and often and i know Davidson can do that as he has shown all season.personaly I think Fox has held him back from calling the game as he really wants to(I take last night as a good example of that)I also think Davidson would not let up on a team as soon as we get a lead as fox tends to do.I just don't think you can have a dominant offense with a conservative,defensive HC like fox.

I think the loyalty to Jake drops dramatically if Fox is gone. Though that won't happen, I do believe Davidson would want to find someone better for his system, someone who can spread the ball more with some decent accuracy and keep the chains moving.
