Suprise Players

sean gilbert> nick hayden.

For the record, the issue with Sean Gilbert wasn't that he was a bad player, he was big, strong, and athletic. The knock was that first we paid 2 first round draft picks for him and second that after holding out for a year with Washington, we paid him a lot and expected him to come in and be the answer which he obviously wasn't. He was simply not close to be worth what we paid for him.

I think martin is a superstar just waiting to bust out! He's shown us what he can do. I expect tyler and Leonard to surprise people. Out of the draft I think edwards will come out playing great immediately, hardy will come out of nowhere and surprise people. He was a top rated college player that fell in the draft. So we can only hope, that it turns out he's a steal.

Tank Tyler would be my 2nd sleeper... watched a few Chiefs episodes of the Hard Knocks marathon today and it's clear Tyler has allot of talent, he just needs to harness it.

Here's a picture of me and the Tank:

Nice - who's the guy behind him wearing the Panthers jersey? Ha, no j/k - you're pretty big dude yourself....

You can't predict a surprise, or else it's no longer a surprise. :P

That being said, if you consider Charles Johnson getting 10 or more sacks a surprise, that's who I'm going with. Dude can be a monster, and this is his year. Really, I think Johnson, Hardy and Brown will all be effective pass rushers.

On the offensive side of the ball, I'll go with David Gettis.
