RIP. Truly a visionary that I don't think gets enough credit. I think if it weren't for Bill Walsh's revolutionary West Coast offense right near the same time, I think Coryell would be a more widely known name by other than those who "know" the NFL's history.

The offenses we ran under Dan Henning had a fair share of influence from Coryell.

Sad news. I wonder when the NFL season start, they might use some kind of tribute to him like Gene Upshaw. Like using Coryell's initital or something to honor him on player's gears.
