Bring in Cowher

Yeah. I said it. We're never gonna reach that next level with this bullshit. It was embarrassing and it hurt.

Thanks Fox, but maybe it's time for some major changes. Chargers did it (altough they brought in a worse coach then Schott...).

Congrats to Arizona. I hope you win your Superbowl. You deserve it.

schot is better than turner in the regular season.... not the playoffs. But anyways I agree completely I think were one signing away (i say bart scott) to being able to running a creative 3-4 and utilizing Harris more like a run stoping safety like a palamalu. Im sick of this lucas and gamble 10 yards off flat/ deep zone, two deep safeties, lbs mid zone and four man rush all game it gets old and picked apart time for a change. imagine a 3-4 front seven of peppers, scott, beason, davis. Dline; johnosn kemo and brayton.

Cowher wants Carolina job. He's not going anywhere because he's waiting on his "hometown" team. Let's give it to him. Shoot us straight onto a national scene. FAs, changes. We have the personnel, we just need someone like him to take us over the hump. I'm sick of losing like this. And no more Jake. I love him, but enough is enough.

Not happening, nor should it.

Trgovac should go, but not Fox. And I'm not a big fan of starting completely from scratch coaching wise after a season like we just had.

Bullshit, bringing Cowher in is just what you guys need. Im glad you guys made the playoffs, because if you didnt, Fox would be our Defensive coord, and Cowher would be your HC. And thats scary as a saints fan. I have it from a very reliable source that Cowher coming to Carolina was in the works during preseason. (Fox coming to the saints was just wishful thinking, he would land a HC job anywhere he wanted.) it still may happen with Cowher although I hope not

no I really think thats why he turned down the other jobs, he was hoping fox failed majorly this season, which didn't happen. He failed miserably in the postseason, which has gotten other coaches fired just the same after 10 11 and 12 win seasons but losses in the postseason. I actually think fox and his staff might be let go for this one, it was clear he was out coached by a long shot on both sides of the ball and he didn't manage this game at all.

Not just outcoached but totally embarrassed by Arizona. On National TV. Primetime. Heads will roll.

Everyone knows Cowher wants Carolina job. Let's give it to him

Knee jerk reaction.

That's JUST what this team needs right now. Sheesh

How in the world would this be a knee jerk reaction? Fox has had ample opportunity to get us over the hump. His ultraconservative offensive philosophy is old and tired. He has made many calls for a run play when a pass play was warranted and vice versa, has been out coached badly for the last several years, has put together a staff that basically seems lost at times on both sides of the ball, has wasted a lot of good talent and potential, is obviously unable to inspire his team on to the next level, always has had a sub par defensive backfield, and got crushed by the Cardinals in nearly every phase of the game with arguably the most talented Panther team in franchise history.

Don't act like firing Fox can't be justified. Cowher had an off season or two, but has never been out coached so badly on such a big stage. His teams that make it to the post season may not win, but they are always prepared to put themselves into a position to win, and have not been embarrassed by teams that they really should have beaten, or at least played pretty much on an even par. Most importantly, Cowher is the master of motivation.

At the end of the day, after all is said and done, what's the difference between a coach that "isn't prepared, and doesn't win," and a coach that is prepared, but still doesn't win?

They're both losers.

Cowher's record speaks for itself.

he has a reg season winning percentage of 623 and a postseason winning percentage of 571, that spells winner to me.

In is 15 years as the steelers coach he had 3 losing seasons and one non winning season.
