Dan Graziano: Panthers will be fairly aggressive in free-agency

Recommended Posts

I'm very iffy on paying Jevon Holland big money. He's a good young player, but is he worth elite safety money? I can't help but think that money would be better spent elsewhere.

Milton Williams I am fully on-board with bringing in. If we can somehow land Mason Graham in the draft and pair him with Williams and Derrick Brown that would be a terrifying front-3.

Spending mega bucks in free agency for a second straight season would be a bad sign.

I think they will go after a S and I predicted Milton Williams weeks ago--and I don't have a podcast or blog, just comes natural--I learned that the more you predict, the more you are right!.  Seriously, and I agree that two years of free agent dumpster diving is not good, but with multiple needs at S and DL, I think we have to go there.  Expect $20m to Williams, I have not researched the Safeties he mentioned.

Last year we need a g and Hunt was probably the top free agent at G.  We went after him on the first day of free agency tampering period.  I think we take the same approach to Williams--which means top dollar.  Of course, I imagine the Eagles will see if they can keep him--not sure what the story is there.
