If he played defensive tackle, I'd agree with you. I'm more confident in our defensive ends than I am our tackles.

I don't think we "need" to rely on our sixth-round rookie. We need Johnson and Brown to step up and fulfill their potential, and I think they will. But I'm really excited to see what Hardy's got as well.

I agree, of course, there are 31 other teams swearing that they have also found the "steal of the draft" - hope you're right, though. I remember when Hilee Taylor, James Anderson, Rashad Butler, Atiyaah Ellison, Stephen Leflour, Dameyione Craig and Deshaun Foster were supposed to be steals too.

He seems to be motivated and ready to work, so far. If he can just keep that attitude through the entire season, then there is no reason for him not to succeed.

Of course, we all know that an injury can happen to any player, but I'm not gonna assume that he will get hurt here just because he got hurt in college. Dan Morgan never missed a game in college due to an injury and yet he lived in the training room as a Panther, while Jonathan Stewart came here with an injury, but has never missed a game as a Panther. You just never know.
