polian has drafted some pretty good defensive players.... but hurney im on the fence with. his good has been good but some moves have been just stupid.

The Delhomme move made sense to save some cap in order to keep the mistake that was julius peppers I'm not calling peppers a mistake he was a great pick and supplied many good years... (I mean he could be a mistake, we'll have to ask his mother, but I digress) keeping him last year was a mistake. it crippled us financially, but damn, did hurney fix that fug up or what this offseason? he cut EVERYONE that was being overpaid regardless of who they were. that took some balls and i respect that he realized his mistake and did the right thing for the franchise by cutting players he loved.

Actually, KATSAZZ, this is a very valid point. A good GM would never write a contract without an escape clause. We pay a player 12.5 million dollars to play for another team. We could be paying somebody that money to play for us.
