Delhomme's or Fox's ass?

If it were up to me (and of course it isn't) what I would do:

*Try* to resign peppers with an appropriate just so I could trade him for 2 #1 pics (ala Jared Allen) He doesn't try hard enough.

I am unsure what to do about Gross. I liked what I saw about Omilaye. I guess resign him but don't break the bank. I doubt he would have as much trade value as Peppers. Otah I don't think can handle LT.

Force Lucas to take a paycut or release him altogether, he can't play anymore, maybe a rookie with some speed can make some plays. We are already getting torched from that position

Get a secondary coach that can fix the bad tendencies in Richard Marshall

Always put Gamble on the other teams best receiver (aka fitz)

Don't release Jake but jump all over it when a starter quality quarterback becomes available, which happens every year or two (Brees, Pennington, Brady/Cassell?)

Do not draft any more project QB's (UFA is ok) Only draft prime time QB's, Bradford,The Golden Calf of Bristol, the other guy from Texas, whatever...

Fire Trgovac (that is a must. This guy's IQ has to be below 100)

Fire Fox (no killer instinct. Too loyal and no balls.)

Hire Cohwer or Schottenheimer

Also I would love to bring in Dick Vermeil in as an offensive Consultant.

Optionally fire Davidson if his play calling is not a result of Fox's stubborn strategy, he hasn't shown me any more than Henning

>>i agree 150% enough of the "dick rubber QB's" brought in.find us a champion and pay him well.no more scrubs.peppers is becoming useless.someone of his size and calibre should be vicious.steve smith ,moose should stay as well as williams and stewart.the rest makem beg for a contract.after last night,we are gettin horse laughed by the league.

Don't get rid of him because of just this game.

This is a much better argument.

And yeah, he should be blamed for his decisions, but he didn't have much to work with. Sometimes the stats lie, and sometimes we only see what we want to see (this goes both for the people I respond to [besides you, Connor ;)], and myself).

No I saw something alright, the cards did a heck of a job watching the tape and found a tell sign on when jake is going to release the ball. Add to that he made horrible decisions and we had horrible play calling. not going to be a good night for the team and the qb.

On for the other stuff, the pass to dwill in the endzone that went incomplete, dwill was wide open for an easy 5-9 yard gain. nope waited bad decision just not a pick on that play.

The smoke route to ss, hesitation on the original call because of his tell sign of his throwing released allowed cromartie to start jumping the route. throw it anyway, he wouldn't have made the pick. smith would've gain a couple of yards or it would've been knocked down.

the crossing route with ss in the endzone you couldn't see ss but you still threw it?????????????????? 2nd dumbest pick in the game.

the first throw in the endzone when he was rolling out, just throw it away or run for a few yards, why throw that in the endzone?????? you just lost points at least 3 that would've made the game 14-10. horrible decision, worst one of the game on delhomme's part.

the throw to moose in double coverage, why throw that ball at all. two defenders draped all over moose.

on the other pick that the lber just dropped back into the passing lane, How do you not see that???????????????

two redzone turnovers that would've won the game in my opinion for us. he doesn't turn those over and that takes away 14 points from them and gives us at least 6 points but more likely 10.

Making the final score 23 - 19 carolina wins

Jake's at fault completely on the loss, he put the defense in bad positions all night.

I never disagreed, but there are more reasons to the loss than Jake. That endzone interception is probably the worst out of the day.

I guess you're going to ignore all of the other flaws, though, and just talk about Jake?
