Delhomme's or Fox's ass?

we need to bring in someone to push jake. look at carr for instance. yeah he was a shitty ass QB, but I think his presence is waht pushed jake to perform so well before he was injured. bring in a young qb with potential to push jake, and hopefully he will try harder.

Jeff Davidson needs to go. He completely abandoned the run game after two series, and that was the only way that we were going to win. What the hell was he thinking? I'll say that Jake did have an awful game, but its a hell of a lot harder to make turn overs when you keep the ball on the ground.

Where, exactly, was Jake supposed to throw to? After the run was ABANDONED OUT IN THE COLD AND MADE HOMELESS, they played the pass the entire time. Hard to throw the ball when you're a running team and you only have a few pass plays that actually work (and those plays are smothered with defenders).

our team has been competitive with fox and delhomme for a long time now. in the nfl, that's all you can ask for, really. i am more concerned about the fact that our defense is not tough at all. we never blitz, or bust anyone's spleen anymore. when's the last time we ended another team's player's career? the mnf against green bay? come on. hit somebody. broken tackles, open receivers and quarterbacks getting all day to pass and we're supposed to be a defensive team?

Why did we bring in DJ Hackett and Landon Johnson? Why didn't we replace Ken Lucas? Ken Lucas has taken a keary colbert like roll with the franchise. no more!

i gotta agree with thundermountain. After 5 years of play here and showing that he is always gonna do things like give games away, his turnovers yesterday were totally uncalled for. While i also agree that the playcalling was horrible, both on offense and defense. Our D needs to see some changes. Offense idk why we totally abandoned panther style football, we went to the pass almost immediately in the 2nd drive. And of the 6 turnovers 2 i think(maybe 3) were in the redzone. He cost us the game, again plain and simple.

Don't jump to that conclusion. Look at the coverage, look at the play-calling.

I agree. He is only the messenger. That being said I did see Cromartie say to one the coaches on the sideline "He threw it right to me".

Jake was given some bs plays to try to make, but he made some sh*t decissions.

Look at 6 turnovers:banghead:

Don't get rid of him because of just this game.

This is a much better argument.

And yeah, he should be blamed for his decisions, but he didn't have much to work with. Sometimes the stats lie, and sometimes we only see what we want to see (this goes both for the people I respond to [besides you, Connor ;)], and myself).

dear panthers general manager,

will you please find and hire us a quarterback.it would be greatly appreciated.jake delhomme threw the game, literally.the pass game awas not there.when he did try it he threw it to the cards.that looked staged to me.

and why was there no more running game?something just does'nt set right with me.he knew better, has played better all season long.you just dont throw it if you think it will get intercepted.please, find us a great QB.
