Tough to play a full season in your upper 30's especially since he's coming off a pretty serious injury. Falcons bet that Cousins had more good years left, lost, and hedged their bet with Penix. -
I think DC was wanting a X WR to play the Evans role in his offense and XL fit that role the best based on where we were drafting. Ladd would have been similar to AT or DJ (at the time). I don’t really agree with the process. Personally I’d take the best players and then build an offense for them (especially on a roster as weak as ours). I got nothing on Brooks other than DC wanting to run the ball, but there were much better ways of getting a RB2 than that… -
Someone needs to be fired for this. And to think. We thought this franchise was an embarrassment under Michael Jordan. Our two jabroni owners need to hire better people.
