Starting to look like Chi-Town is gonna become Manny-Town.

Whether that's a good thing or bad, time will tell.

3.5 back as of now/Rangers up 2-1 on Piranhas/Sox nil nil witht he O's.

This bullpen needs to get it together, Jenks was awesome last night. Santos was SH IT!. Sale continues to impress.

The clock started ticking on Manny Ramirez's future as a Dodger on Friday, when the Chicago White Sox were awarded a waiver claim that gives them exclusive rights to make a deal to acquire Ramirez over the next four days. The teams now have until 1:30 p.m. ET Tuesday to complete a trade. According to a source monitoring the waiver wire, the White Sox were one of three teams to claim Ramirez after the Dodgers placed him on trade waivers Wednesday.

DENVER -- Los Angeles Dodgers left fielder Manny Ramirez is headed to the Chicago White Sox on Monday is what is looking like a straight waiver claim, a league source with knowledge of the situation said Sunday on condition of anonymity.

The source said there was still some chance the two clubs will work out a trade that presumably would involve a high-level prospect going from the White Sox to the Dodgers, a development that probably would mean the Dodgers would pay a small percentage of the $3.825 million remaining on Ramirez's two-year, $45 million contract.

But if no trade can be agreed to, the Dodgers will allow Ramirez to simply go to the White Sox as a waiver claim, in which case the White Sox would be responsible for the entire $3.825 million. The Dodgers have had that option available to them ever since the White Sox secured waiver rights to Ramirez on Friday.
