Are fuggen ballin. They're playing some of the best ball in the Bigs right now. They've got a strong pitching rotation that is really gelling. FINALLY, our bats have woken up. Quentin was named AL Player of the week. We're playing Ozzie ball and it's looking really good for the Sox. We're .5 game back from the Tigers and only 1.5 back from first place Minnesota. If we can surge and get into first before the All Star break, I don't think we'll give it up. I'm not putting any timetable on it, of course... just think it would be pretty cool.

Jake's injury looks like a season ender to me, though it isn't like he was pulling his weight anyway.

Twins are scufflin' right now.

Tigers are just ok but the loss of Zumaya will hurt them.

It is doable, and it will require winning the division since the WC is not going to come out of the Central.

Yeah, Peavy might be done... which is a shame because he has been looking really good his last few starts, Epi. He was pretty solid in June, if you look at the numbers.

We're now in 2nd place and only .5 game back from Detroit... though we're currently losing to KC in the 7th... KC has been playing some good ball recently, btw... I don't expect it to last (as always)
