lets just sleep on it.... honestly, I am still happy about our season... I don't think I have ever seen a team work harder.. they put everything in to this season... yea... this loss really hurt... the worst loss I've ever experienced... I don't think I've ever believed in a team as much as I have this years team.. they blew it... let's hope this is the catalyst for next year.. I can't wait.. this team, I think, has a bright future.

I'm with you 100%...It was hard for me to breathe when we were down 30-7 but I had to look at the big picture and realize that this team is going in the right direction....A Super Bowl would've been nice but everything happens for a reason..I know this team will build on this and move forward to brighter days..

Preeeety sure he was using Jackson as an example. So that means, if I say that my Golden Retriever could've put up the same performance as Jake tonight, it doesn't actually mean I want us to sign my dog.

I get that, I wanted a specific player which is why I said what I said. He decided to use Jackson, example or not. I'm asking, who do we bring in that can win right now. I can't think of too many people.

There's pretty much no one. There's a thread floating around with a list of FA QBs. It's pretty depressing.

Man it sucks in a way not to have a 1st round pick with the qb's coming out this year.

It seems like everyone on here is pulling for someone to win the bowl since the Panthers are eliminated...whoooo a-re you pu-ulling f'for?

Ohhh.... gotcha. Ehh.... I don't know, man. Had myself pretty vested in the Panthers there. If I had to root for someone, maybe the Cards since they haven't been there since before cheese was invented. Maybe Baltimore and Flacco just because of Matt Ryan and Rookie of the Year.

I don't think Jake is going anywhere either but I wouldn't mind seeing him back up Matt Moore..

You want the guy with the fifth highest cap hit at the qb position to be a backup???? I say trade him for a 2nd or 3rd round pick and get his 10 mill off the cap so we can go sign someone that will be a game changer on either offense or defensem preferably defense. I think either matt moore or McCown can handle the show for a season or two.

Add that to us getting rid of lucas who has the 11th highest cap hit of all CB's and we've freed up over 15 million in cap, plus the seven mill from the cap increase and we have 22 million to go get us some big time players that can make our defense dominate again and just run the ball down the other teams throat and use our defense to deflate teams.

As Dieon Sanders is saying on NFLNetwork..

Jake Delhomme is wanted for murder after killing his team last night. He single handedly lost this game. How can we establish a run when we're already down by so many points so fast? We let the man throw and it's an INT.

Could the coaching staff have called better plays? Yes, but they can't make Delhomme read the field and not f*ck up every single throw.

Also, get rid of Trgo already too, not covering their best reciever at all times should get you fired alone.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
