Vick's co-defendent shot @ Vick's Bday party

And you believe him?

I really don't get how anyone could be a Vick apologist at this point

I believe he cut a deal with the court to get his sentence reduced. So yes, I believe him. He's already been to jail, Why lie about killings the dogs now? He gets more jail time for all the Fed charges that he admitted to. They are just as horrible. So wouldn't he publicly admit to killiings his dogs? Maybe because he didn't and just said he did to get his sentence reduced?

I'm not condoning or apologizing for anything he did. But it's clear you just want to hate Vick. Whatever your reason it's stupid. Here's a silly example of pleading guilty to everything just to get your time dropped. The janitor were i work was drunk driving, went into on coming traffic and killed a lady. He was charged with with a bunch of stuff including not wearing his seat belt. He plead guilty to all charges in court. He told me the seat belt charge was a silly add on, since the penality was nothing compared to his other charges. And yes, He was wearing his seat belt or he probably would have died too. But he plead guilty to everything to get his time reduced.

Michael Vick's lawyer said his client was "long gone" before a shooting took place near a Virginia Beach restaurant that hosted his 30th birthday party. However, the owners of the restaurant have turned over video surveillance showing that Vick left three minutes before the shooting began. Allen Fabijan, a spokesperson for the restaurant, said Vick appeared to be moving toward a parked car at 2:04 a.m. A crowd quickly gathered around Vick, asking him for autographs and photos. Vick accomodated the fans, but there were so many fans that a club security guard tried to disperse the crowd. The waiting car pulled away at 2:07 a.m. in the direction of the eventual shooting. At 2:10, numerous people, who had been lingering in the front of the club, suddenly appear to duck for cover. Fabijan went on to say that Vick was not involved in any altercations during the hour he was inside, or immediately outside, the restaurant/nightclub.

So vick is in the clear right? Or are we saying he ordered the hit or something?

I believe vick personally killed some dogs.

If not he made it happen.

Don't really care to differentiate.

Right now, it looks like flimsy evidence to charge the fellow with. His alibi is that he had left, minutes before, but he was gone when the shots rang out.

Did he get someone else to shoot the guy? Who knows? Unless someone rolls over on Vick, we have to believe that he's innocent.

Do I think he did it? Dunno, but he's changing his alias to Run Mexico now.

"Vick agrees and stipulates that these dogs all died as a result of the collective efforts of Peace, Phillips and Vick."

I've already seen that link.....Seems like your ignoring the first sentence where it says part of his plea agreement was to admit to everything. People don't make plea deals if they aren't trying to get time cut.

Actually, he might be in pretty hot water.

Vick, Roddy White, and his lawyer all said repeatedly that he was gone 30 minutes before the shooting. Video shows it was only 3 minutes, so he and White have both been caught lying to police (not a good idea when you're on probation).

Vick and his people have claimed that he had an altercation with Quannis Phillips, presumably to show that he didn't want him there since he's not supposed to be associating with him. Now the restaurant owner disputes that too. If Vick made no effort to remove him or get away from him, he's violated terms of his release.

Add in that the shots came from the direction Vick and his buddies had gone just minutes earlier.

Enough to get him put back in jail? Maybe, maybe not.

Enough to get him in pretty big trouble with the league - and the Eagles - considering he was already hanging by a thread? Uuuhh, yeah.

You realize you're allowed to lie to David Letterman, right? So all those interviews in the press are probably bullshit.

Lying to the FBI sees your ass in jail for a long, long time. I personally believe his federal statement more than his TV statement.

You may believe he did, and thats fine. But there is no proof other then the word of a snitch who was going to jail anyway that Mike Vick personally killed his own dogs. The same snitch that was shot admitted he killed some dogs on Vicks property. And maybe Vick was standing beside him when he did it. But to repeat the same nonsense that He personally killed them is just wrong

Yeah Ok.

If this were his first run-in it would be a non-issue.

Goodell is a hard ass these days and i could see him saying, "I'm not sure what happened but I'm not taking any chances. See Ya!"

I actually hope he isn't punished as it really could be an incident of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Either way he needs to stay the hell away from these people and places

There is rarely "proof." It is often eyewitnesses and evidence. We can never know in many cases if the really did it.

Did OJ do it?

Nonetheless it never seemed like people were in a conspiracy to snitch on vick for killing dogs when he didn't.

But most people agree he either did it or made it happen since he was running the rings. No distinction for me and I'm not sure why it would be important to figure it out
