I'm not a hypocrite. I care more about an animal that displays loyalty and care over one that is deceitful and selfish. I think we should find homes for all the stray dogs and use homeless people and welfare recipients as fuel.

I hear BP is leading the way.

Yep. Just to finish out the thought...so many of these women throw themselves at these guys, it's really hard for them to see them the way you and I do. You and I are thinking "man, if a hot woman threw herself at me I'd drive her home, offer to see her again and buy her a meal." These guys aren't the chasERs, they're the chasEEs. I bet you Ben barely even remembers the girls who made the accusations. He's probably gone somewhere private with 100 girls just like them.

yup, I am sure thats the case for him and soooo many others all the time. Other than Zod, none of us mortals will ever know that life!

That being said, they all know it is the life they are getting themselves into...and that should force them to be soo much more cautious too!

I'm just trying to say it's not like you are painting it. You mentioned that you would kill the bastard who raped your wife/sister/girlfriend before you would kill the one who killed your dog. I don't see Ben as that guy who would rape your mother/sister/girlfriend...unless she hung all over him in his private room at the strip club. I'm saying he's not much different than the majority of players in the NFL, black or white. Just dumber.

Maybe you are missing my point. So if a girl is hanging all over him and he rapes her is it not considered rape?

Let me make sure I'm getting your argument correct here...rape is rape, regardless of circumstance. Is that what you're saying?

I don't look at the guy who goes too far with some lovestruck groupie the same way I look at the serial rapist who picks women at random and ties them down somewhere, any more than I look at the guy who finances and attends dog fights the same way I look at the guy who accidentally backed over someone's dog in the driveway.

Rape is a very powerful word. The way you are using it, you make Big Ben sound like some dude who should be taking it up the keester in a prison shower somewhere. To me, he's just the latest sad example of the different world we and our favorite athletes live in.

Hey you're the one who keeps oversimplifying the two cases. There's a lot more to it than "Ben is a rapist" and "Vick killed some dogs". But I am punting at this point. Your style is impetuous. Your defenses impregnable. You want to eat my children, praise be to Allah.
