Jail help

I need someone to walk me through the process of getting someone out of jail. There's a bond, but I don't know what it is.

But if one of us calls a bondsman, aren't we responsible if he doesn't show up for court? I don't trust the guy to show up.

A bail bondsman can help you out, but if its not too much money you can just post the bond yourself and pick them up at the jail. They will tell you the bond and you bring a wad of cash. THey give you a receipt and after its all over you get the bond back in the form of a check.

Oops, never mind just saw you don't trust the guy. I'd leave him!! LOL

I already read that. I wanted first hand experience. The last time I was in a jail, I was playing in it cause my dad was magistrate.

Then I sure wouldn't post his bail. If he doesn't show up you/her would be on the hook for the full amount of the bond.

Depending on what he did. Bail could range from $500 - $15,000+.
