When is it supposed to move through? Damn, it's hot. Still almost 90 outside. We celebrated when it got down to 81 in the house. AC is doing all it can. One of the dogs is laying on his back in front of a fan letting it all hang out.

Provided Monday gets a little higher than the forecasts are calling for, it looks like we'll break that record.

After last summer here, I can take most anything. We had 40 something straight days of a hundred or more and somewhere around 70 total days of a hundred or more.

It robbed me of any love of summer I ever had.

everytime I have ever been in Texas, I've always come home with the worst fricken head cold! 95/95 outside, into blasting A/C, back to the 95/95...back to the AC....

that makes sense...ya...Houston/Deer Park/New Orleans....too damn hot and humid. Never been outside in the Dallas area...just in the airport...it was fairly cool in there!!!!

It's generally hotter here in the middle, but usually not as humid.

Pick your poison though. I've lived in Charleston and Austin and it's a toss up. Charleston had worse single days, but Austin just kills you with months and months and months of intense heat.

Well unless this map is wrong, it should be here in less than 24 hours. But I'm guessing it will only make the 90s actually feel like 90s, instead of feeling like 100 with the extra humidity these past few days.

honestly...I'd sooner put up with some snow and cold in the winter than put up with constant 100 degree days all summer long
