Eh, I don't know how well you can do a "real life" version of the Riddler. After the Joker, the rest of the Batman villians are so zany, with totally unrealistic origin stories, I'm not sure how well they will fit into Christopher Nolan's dark, gritty, very uncomedic vision of the Batman universe. To be honest, I think Bane (Roid freak) or even Mr. Freeze (Bank robber who used liquid nitrogen to break locks) would be eaiser, than a goof ball who leaves riddles for his crimes. Unless he is a Se7en-style murderer leaving clues; that might be cool.

The Riddler is obsessed with riddles, puzzles, and word games. He delights in forewarning both Batman and the police of his capers by sending them complex clues. With this self-conscious use of a gimmick, the Riddler's crimes are flamboyant and ostentatious. The character is often depicted as wearing a domino mask either with a green suit and bowler hat, or a green jumpsuit. A black or purple question mark serves as his visual motif.

The Riddler is typically portrayed as a smooth-talking, yet quirky, victim of an intense obsessive compulsion.

Unlike most of the other prominent members of Batman's rogues gallery, the Riddler is not a psychopathic murderer; rather, he is a malignant narcissist with an ego that rivals or may even surpass that of the Joker. He commits his crimes in order to flaunt his intellectual superiority and a large portion of his crimes are non-violent in nature. While the Riddler's behavior may often appear insane to some, it is in fact the result of a deep seated neurosis. As such Batman's direct conflicts with the Riddler are typically more cerebral than physical and usually involve defeating him non-violently.

Yea, Daniel Day Lewis can pretty much do any part. But he only takes a few roles from time to time, and they have to be pretty good. I'd be surprised if he'd consider doing a Batman movie.

now i would normally agree, but this isnt just a batman movie with dumb characters and plot. its dark, it has a history now with heath ledger winning an oscar for his role, he is friends with ledger (was) and christopher nolan is a damn good director. DDL Would thrive as riddler imo....he did gangs of new york (big budget, big name actors) he COULD do this...

I think he may look at it as "been done before" sort of thing. The dark Batman is no longer new, and probably won't get huge recognition anymore. A large part of the reason The Dark Knight did well was the death of Ledger.

But you may be right. And I agree, I think he would be phenomenal. Daniel Day is probably my favorite actor right now, so I'd love it.

      Brother.....I don't know how to tell you this but he said with a full off-season he likely would have led the Panthers to the playoffs which in fact is true.   You forgetting Rhule was the HC. He had this team looking like trash. Darnold/Wilks was a winning combo. The most relevant football we played in the Tepper era. This is facts.
