That sounds freaking awesome!

Have you ever had a chocolate covered raspberry? It's a pint of Young's Double Chocolate Stout with a shot of raspberry lambic stirred in it.

I just back off vaction and will have to do macros for a while if I want to drink at all. You don't realize how much money you spend until you get back from vacation. Heck, I even went on a 'budget' vacation and still spent a pant load.

I've heard of those, but I've yet to try it. It sounds like a nice combo! I've done floats with the Young's before, and it's perfect for that.

Just went downstairs to pick a beer, I checked my closet and I counted approx 35 different beers (only about 15 I like rest were given by distributors) in my beer fridge. I grabbed a Modelo Especial. In my kegerator I currently have sweetwater 420.

ugh wine snobs.....now beer snobs.

If any of us have embodied beer snobbery, I must have missed it. We just like what we like, same as you. And since you're the one who first brought it up, aren't you, in fact, the beer snob? ;)

Just because we don't like the same light lagers the rest of the world is drinking doesn't make us snobs. To each their own.

Nice. The 420 sort of surprised me at how good it was. I really like their IPA. Hey, need any craft beer reps? :P

I've got an old Frigidaire kegerator that I'll (probably) be using for my homebrew. I say probably because my wife is pregnant and I may end up selling all the homebrew stuff, and before I even had the chance to use it.

Tonight I wanted an IPA to pair with my two spicy chicken sandwiches from Chik-fil-A, so I grabbed a Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA. Really pretty good. Now I'm sipping on one of my all-time favorites, an Old Rasputin. Divine.:drool5:

I had four good beers last night. They are as follows:

Catawba Valley King Coconut Porter (Very strong coconut flavor, some dark chocolate.)

Dieu de Ciel Péché Mortel (Imperial coffee stout with strong roasted flavor.)

Green Flash West Coast IPA (You can really taste the different hops used in this one.)

BFM La Douze (American Pale Ale brewed with flowers from Switzerland. Interesting.)

Now, what to drink the rest of the weekend?

I really enjoy the Big Boss Bad Penny out of Raleigh. Good brown ale that is extremely easy to drink. The Highland Oatmeal Porter is a staple and I drank a ton Duck Rabbit Milk Stout while in school. The best part about Greenville is being next to Farmville.

Damn, I'm thirsty! Is noon too early? :)

You've never had beer for breakfast???? You can pick out all the flavors so much more intensely when its the first thing that hits your tounge in the morning.
