I been drinking whatever comes in front of me. As for you going home, it's one of the best trips home ever after sleeping in a crappy ass hospital couch for 2 nights with someone waking you up every hour. Speaking of which, any other dad sneak off to the store to grab a 24 while at the hospital and shotgun it before you went back?

I didn't do that, but I was tempted to bring some beer with me!

Went with the Nebraska Brewing Hop God and back to an old favorite Weyerbacher Double Simcoe last night.

I have got to try that Hop God. I know I saw it not long ago at my local bar. I love Double Simcoe.

yuengling light right now. i gotta get something better, and start saving the bottles for what I brew.

If you need bottles, I have plenty. If you're around Charlotte and want me to give you case or so, let me know!

I have been loving me some belgian lights and dark brews lately. Had a Chimay Red, Ommegang Triple Perfection. Lovin it.!!!

I enjoy the Belgian styles as well. Pretty much everything that Ommegang and Chimay brew is great.

Only when miller lite keg goes dry..

I doubt there are few if any folks here who dont enjoy a cold "miller, bud, coors, etc" beer more often than not. In fact, in a beer to beer ratio, i bet those beat out the "craft brew" handily.

If i want to slam beers im not picking DFH. And i like to slam beers on occasional...PPV Boxing somes to mind, random night in June is another.

You do get some types that only drink the specialty types, but drinking is the least of their hobbies or vices.

Those are the palleted people.

Im a drunk with a palette.

I can honestly say I only drink craft beers. The closest I get to a mass produced beer is Bells Two Hearted.

i always feel like im going to get fatter drinking them..but, i guess there are some fine lower alcohol ones. But, thats an expensive buzz.

Picked up the following this PM:

DFH San Palo

Bells Expedition Stout

Great Lakes Conways Irish

Had the San Palo before (divine)

Looking forward to the Bells...

got the light beer to wash it down.

Dogfish Palo Santo is awesome -- it is, in my opinion, their best beer. I love it so much.

Expedition stout is also awesome, and even though it's an expensive six-pack it really is a pretty decent value for what it is.

I've never had the Conway's Irish Ale, but I've really enjoyed all of the Great Lakes beers I've had: especially the Edmund Fitzgerald porter.

Looks like the dogfishhead namaste is out at the local craft store.

Must get.

I've seen that one before but have never tried it. Let me know what you think of it.

To celebrate my son's birth, I had my Old Rasputin XI last Friday night. It was good, but I was a bit disappointed. The bourbon was very subtle, having been aged since 2008. Don't get me wrong, it's a good beer, but probably not worthy of the $20 price tag. I'll stick with the regular Old Rasputin for now.

Speaking of bourbon barrel-aged beers, I went looking for Founders KBS today. I didn't find it, but I did pick up a Smuttynose Baltic Porter. I'm a huge fan of Baltic porters, but I've never tried this one. At $4.99 a bomber, It's a pretty decent value -- especially if the reviews are any indication.
