I drank yuengling light all weekend. I can't complain, but I do wish I'd had some stouts like I planning to.

had that last weekend during the game. we were at the gas station and all the sudden there's light right next to the regular. figured we would try it. wasnt too bad.

its been here a while at the teeter, and to a lesser extent the food lion. i honestly think it tastes the same as the regular. my usual trip for beer includes 12 of them, and 6 of something special.

I had such an awesome day up in Winston on Saturday for the Foothills Brewing Sexual Chocolate release. Not only did I get my bottles, but I also hung out from about 6 a.m. onward with some great people. We all shared a variety of bottles, most of which were hard-to-find or rare stuff.

A few of my favorites from Saturday:

Russian River Consecration

Dogfish Head World Wide Stout

Great Lakes Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout

Pisgah Valdez

Founders KBS

2008 Foothills Sexual Chocolate

Dogfish Head World Wide Stout

At 18 percent, I expected the alcohol in this one to be more pronounced than it was. It was definitely there, but I didn't think it was overly boozy. This one has a ton of raisin flavor, as well as other dark fruits and roasted malt. World Wide Stout was a nice warming beer, and a good one to have at 6 a.m. to start my morning in the cold.

Great Lakes Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout

I have never had a Great Lakes beer I didn't love, and this was no exception. The bourbon was so smooth. It was obviously there, but not as harsh as bourbon can be in some beers. This one has me wanting to try the regular Blackout Stout, which we should get in Charlotte in November.

2008 Foothills Sexual Chocolate

This beer was great, but I was sort of surprised by it. I expected three year's time to take away some of the hop bitterness, but this one still had a nice bitterness to it. Perhaps that was from the dark chocolate flavors. I've always thought that Sexual Chocolate has a nice level of bitterness that works really well with the chocolate without being too much. I'm glad to have tried one with some age on it, but I believe I prefer it fresh.

I love the reviews, but now I am salivating wanting to try them.

Thanks man. :cheers2:
