Yeah, you can get Purple Haze about everywhere.

I'm not a big fan of anything Abita makes. I had their Pecan Harvest at a friend's house recently. It wasn't bad, but there are so many better brown ales out there.

Well damn, thought it was mainly an out west beer. I normally would go for Sweetwater anyways here, if I am at a restaurant and thats rare for some reason. More common in bottle than it is on draft.

Abita is brewed in Saints territory. Yet another reason not to drink it.

According to this thread, it sucks and you wouldn't like it. Its a raspberry what beer which recently won 1st place for "Best Beer" at the South Carolina Seafood, Jazz and Brew fest

I hate it mostly because my old roommate's fat girlfriend used to drink it because it was the "only beer that tastes good." Either that or White russians were all she drank because she has the sensibilities of a 16 year only child and would only eat or drink things that were caked in sugar.
