You can't say that a coordinator with no head-coaching experience is better than Fox. They could fail miserably just as easily as they could succeed in a head coach role.

By that logic, we're stuck with Fox forever and every other coach in the NFL will never lose their job.

Ok, but there's no logic at all in you saying that Frazier, McDermott or Rivera are better head coaches than Fox when they have no experience as head coaches.

Pantherbob. Did you know that john fox isn't the only lame duck coach in the nfl this season?

You really do come off as nothing smarter than a box of rocks.

The cba, or lack there of, has everything to do with john fox coaching in the finial year of his contract. Same with a few other coaches in the league.

I love how so many people are focused on his contract status, and think how easily he could be replaced. Please, keep tallking on this subject. Your ignorance is blissful.

As for the topic of this thread, I don't hate any of the head coaches in this division.

Like who? Marvin Lewis? You realize he was offered an extension and turned it down right?

You are correct that the CBA does have a hand in Fox employment. If it wasnt for the CBA he would have been FIRED after last year. The only reason he wasnt is because JR is trying to save money for a possible lockout and didnt want to pay two coaches. He even gave Fox the option to look for another job

I guess there was a point when I might have said Fox, but I believe (at some point recently) the organization has turned into something that will no longer be soiled by Fox's occasional bad decisions.

So I went with Mike Smith because of this; that and he's the Falcan'ts coach.
