Julius Peppers

Did you see the game? Warner had a giant pocket to step into the whole game. Peppers and Brayton would push the outside and Warner would just step up while Kemo and Lewis had almost no push up the middle. The only sack was because Lewis actually applied pressure up the middle and Peppers forced Warner to step up. That was when Warner went deep, which wasn't that often. Most of the time the ball came out so fast it was useless trying to apply pressure with just 4.

about the best play of the game was when pep sniffed out that screen by arizona that initially pushed them out of field goal range in the 1st quarter. theat would have easily went for big yardage if it won't for pep. when we blitzed we got in warner's face. parts of the defense showed up, but it got overshadowed by delhomme's problems, our secondary, and coaching.

Peppers was not a factor at all. I have a feeling his is not happy and wont be a Panther next year. IDK why I feel this way but I think he will grab as much money as possible after tonight. We also might have major changes a coaching cause this type of game gets people fired.

i wonder if some of you watched the game, like carolina sock said pep and brayton(also johnson) would get pressure around the edge an warner would step up.plus they did shut down johnny boy last week.blitzing out front four clearly wasn't gonna work,so when we blitzed more then one we gonna incompletions.when we sat in zones we got gashed.which one did we do more, sit in zones is the answer....pep draws attention so other can shine.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
