Sounds pretty on target to me. Really everyone is going to have to step up for us this year. Camp and the preseason will be extremely important to us this year.

Can't argue much with that. Pretty good write up. Espeially liked the talk of how we got younger and faster. Everyone seems to feel that this is a dangerous and season condemning move but could hold such vast rewards for this team if not this year, then in the coming years for sure. Its a bit of a gamble, but one I'm pretty confident will pay off for the team. Either way, I'm excited for the season to start!

I couldn't believe the part where he says that Cantwell has the best arm out of our QB's etc.. I've never heard that said, and to be honest, it sounds pretty weird. Must just be talking about distance or something???

He means the strongest arm, which typically means he can throw it the farthest and with the most zip.

re: fullback...we might not be seeing nearly as much PT with the FB as we have been used to. there will probably be quite a bit changed in this offensive scheme compared to previous years.

I got to watch Hunter during his time at U of L. The dude has got a rocket attached to his arm. That actually hurt him a lot in college. The guy had one arm speed... rocket. He would throw a 5 yard slant the exact same speed he would a 25 yard post. Caused a lot of tipped passes that would get intercepted. The guy has all the tools you need to be a successful nfl quarterback.

Sorry, the FO put themselves in a hole with the drafting of Pike. No matter how Pike and Cantwell perform in camp and preseason, Pike will be the one to make the roster because we drafted him and we are NOT going to carry 4 QBs. Otherwise if he gets cut, it'll show that he was a waste of a pick and it'll be an embarrassment to the FO. Plus, he wouldn't last long on the PS. Im on the fence with this pick. I believe he'll outperform Cantwell, but there's always that chance he won't. But like I said, FO put themselves in this situation.
