Put a sticky on this. The off season has just started now

Can I start with opinions

Do a Green Packers with the coaches, including Fox. Dont want Hurney to leave, but hey he wanna roll with Fox. Go right along. Idk about Jeff yet. Our offense did get exposed badly. But I think about that article talking about Fox limits Jeff

New QB, Rosario or other TE, Hackett, Lucas, Landon Johnson, Brayton.. cut them. Idk about Marshall. He better when being physical. Probably some more, cant think

On 2nd thoughts, if we can afford T.J. Go after him. I dont really know about Haynesworth anymore. I think from now on injuries will still start coming. Of course find a way to keep Pep & Gross

Jake was just horrible but think about it one year ago Warner was the same way. We need a good run game to win and we didnt have it. Why did we refuse to let GAMBLE our newly signed shutdown CB shadow Fitz? Why did we think Lucas could cover him? Did anyone see Jpep tonight and why was he not even used to distract Warner?

I know I refuse to go through another season without any coaching changes, especially Mike. I swear after this, I would stop being a Panther fan and just watch games for enjoyment until a change happen

To be the only blown out team in the playoffs at home says a lot about our team. Did we care about rest the whole break? Its like they took the game against the Seahawks and studied it well

I can't really say that I'd like for Fox to be fired. To be honest, he has his faults, but so does every coach. On the whole, he's better than most when it comes to being a head coach. Laugh at it all you want, but it's true. If he were fired by us, he'd be in the mix for a job at several different places the second the news hit the wire. He's not perfect, but he's not bad.

Trgovac needs to go for sure. He's straight up terrible, and his defense just doesn't work. Waiting until the 2nd half to apply pressure was way too late. Was this Fox's fault or Trgovac's? Who can really say for sure. We don't know most of what goes on along the sidelines. All I know is Trgovac is responsible for designing the schemes and calling the plays. He failed miserably tonight. By the time the defense got it's poo together, it was way too late.

Davidson called a terrible game. I've been a little iffy on him since he was hired, but he's actually shown me some good at times. Yes, this game was awful, but I think he should stay.

As far as assistants go, not all of our assistants are bad. Our running back's coach is one of the best ever IMO, and Tim Lewis is a beast of a DB's coach. While we allowed a lot of yards through the air, he's not the one creating the terrible schemes...but he sure has help turned Gamble into an All-Pro. In fact, the only player that's gone downhill since his arrival is Lucas, and I think that's primarily his age beginning to show.

Either way, there needs to be some changes made. New DC, maybe a couple new assistants. To sit back and change nothing would be a mistake, in my opinion. Consistency in coaching can really be a huge positive in building a winning franchise, but we've got to cut the dead weight.

PS. It goes without saying that Crossman should be fired. Why? Mark Jones is awesome, and he actually gets good return yardage... Rhys Lloyd kicks the kickoffs through the goalposts!!... Doesn't matter. Any ST coach could sit back and watch that happen...no more blocked punts/kicks please. New coach please, thanks, have a nice life Crossman! :)

The fact is we have not changed much since 05. Except our D is worse. We still try to run at the wrong times. Jake is still forcing passes to Smith when other WRs are open, our O-line looked horrible tonight not adjusting at all to the stunts and blitzes that the cards were using manly just stunts. Fox needs to learn his Job is to motivate his team and let the coaches do there job but I just dont see how he is gonna keep this team together after this.

give moore a chance i say but delhomme is eating up cap space...something along the lines of 9 mil. we can't afford that for an inconsistent QB. let moore have his shot and bring in another qb

make a play for TJ hooseyamama and try to keep pep and franchise gross (trade him for some nice picks if the offer arises and it's real good)

fire trgo and go get a real d-cord (pref someone off baltomore staff)

put fox back on the hot seat (playoff win or fired)

CUT: lucas, delhomme, hackett, others, rebuild defense and defensive philosophy

really though they need to apologize to big cat for that piece of poo

It's the same head coach, they don't change their main philosophies, ever. It's kind of ridiculous to say we need to completely change again, seeing that's what we did last year. People have to remember we were 12-4 this year, yes this was a horrible game, but that poo happens. This was just straight up a case of getting our asses out-coached and out-played. Do I think changes need to be made? Of course. But do I think that house needs to be cleaned and we need completely new philosophies? Absolutely not.

Our philosophies is getting old. Its no excuse we had a more healthy team in 05 and the same result happened. Its like they just studied the Seahawks tape

We was too exposed today, especially on offense. Fox too stubborn to change. I always knew not having a effective passing game with a valuable 3rd and 4th receiver would come back. We inactivated them all season. Never utilized them. They knew Jake was going to Smith on this play and that play

Its been too many rookie coaches and head coaching changes where you seen differences and gave teams hope for future. I just see the young players we have as hope. But it takes more than that. Say what you want about the Pats. Cany deny through tough times they find a way to be there. Cant say the same for us

I dont want to be like the Colts. Good season, then get eliminated in the playoffs cause the studying and preparation is much better and tighter

This year was supposed to be special and the way it ended definitely opens some eyes

    • Exactly the type of thing he would have done here. The excuse people were stannin’ so hard claiming he would have looked just as bad. Just not true.
    • Yes and there aren't 32 starting QBs in the league either. Too many teams and too many games. The NFL has regressed over the years and game quality is lacking. The other leagues are supposed to be farm leagues but it doesn't matter. You just won't have 32 no matter what they do. The move to super athletes playing QB at all levels has lead to this. It used to be those guys played other positions but now they are QBs who can't really QB.  It has a trickle down effect too. OL can't block because they never had to. The fact that in today's game your QB must be able to run at least a little to survive is evidence of this as well. IMO they have ruined the game same as with the NBA. It's been simplified to the point of being boring.  Just look at the top 10 this season. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) Joe Burrow (Bengals) Josh Allen (Bills) Lamar Jackson (Ravens) Dak Prescott (Cowboys) Jalen Hurts (Eagles) Brock Purdy (49ers) Jordan Love (Packers) Justin Herbert (Chargers) Matthew Stafford (Rams) Once we get to number 5 the stats look like this: 167 262 1,845 63.7 7.0 10 8 65 18 84.5   47.5   10 TDs and 8 INTs??? At number 5??? There was a time not that long ago that he wouldn't even be a starter.
    • I'm not convinced that the NFL is any better or worse at developing QBs now than they were 20 years ago.  I mean I'm sure there are some developmental issues at play, just not sure it is any different than it has been. The biggest difference IMO is that NFL teams are waaaaaaaay more willing to invest a 1st round pick into a QB now than they were 15-20 years ago.  A guy like Colin Kaepernick would probably be a top 5 pick in 2025, whereas he went in the 2nd in 2011.  Would a guy like Trey Lance go top 3 in 2010?  Hell no.  Look at Russell Wilson - he didn't go until the 3rd round.  The standard for being a 1st round QB has dropped. So it may seem like we're seeing more high-profile busts at the position, but we're also seeing teams reach for QBs way more than they have in the past.  Someone with Anthony Richardson's college resume doesn't go in the top 3 20 years ago.
