i always got raped on screen passes i do alot of poweriso and counter runs to open up the shotgun.. they added the bubble screen to ncaa 11 ive been waiting on that for 5 years so if they add that to madden ill use that some

I use the one where it is a 4-WR set (not shotgun, though), and two receivers run routes on the left, with another blocking for Steve on the other side of the field. It works decent... as the OL does some decent blocking on the LBers. The only downside is that sometimes the WR won't block well/for long and a corner gets you down. If you can beat the corner, all you have to do is get past the SS. I find it best to use this in obvious blitz situations but you have to get it off within a second or your QB is in the ground. Unfortunately, sometimes you hit your blockers with the pass as they haven't moved in front of Steve yet.

It is also of utmost importance to gather speed quickly as everyone converges on Steve as if he has the sole Milky Way in a fat camp.

I can beat just about anyone that doesn't cheat on madden 10 with the Panthers. You just need to learn how to hot route Steve Smith. I can basically run power I, audible to pass, and put Smitty on a slant route all day. Then when the other guy finally decides to press, hot route Smith to a fade, or a play action go route.

whenever i desperately needed to pass on that game i usually just hot route the rb straight up .. its the cheapest play ever but guaraunteed 8-9 yards .. also the play 689 hook is money most of the time throwing to the slot .. got a 100 yard game with jarrett that way .. other than that im running all day long .. fb dives wildcat plays switching out rb's everything but toss plays

He posted this........ Some more Madden 11 ratings. Chris Johnson 99 (99 spd), Ryan Clady 98, Jason Witten 97, Jon Beason 96, Haloti Ngata 94, Roddy White 93, Desean Jackson 91 (99 spd), Brian Dawkins 90, Steve Smith 88, Albert Haynesworth 86

Is this the New York Giants Steve Smith?

I realize CJ went for 2000 yards but talk about overrated. 99? You give DeAngelo that many touches in a season and he will put up some amazing yardage with more TDs.

Also he fumbles wayy too much. I mean sure if you get a power hit on you it is one thing but I get the ball stripped by him at least every other game. It kills me when i play another team and chester taylor can truck harder than d-lo.

Yea I use the same play, I use to hit Otah in the back on the screen, to fix that just slide the OL protection to the left, ull still get the LOLB blocked by ur the wideout next to steve and just juke out the SS and its open field after that

You do the exact same things I do as far as putting Smith in the slot and running the ball...it'd be fun to play you online. It'd be like playing with myself. Well, never mind.

Exactly. I lost a playoff game in one of my online leagues because Williams fumbled 4 flipping times and AD never lost the rock at all.

I feel like the Madden guys put Sportscenter on and rate players solely on who the talking heads are sucking off at the time. If you watched even a handful of Panther games you'd know Williams should have like a 98 on carrying. I know he gave up the rock at a couple unfortunate times last year, but still.
