Are you menstruating?
i don't know if he is and i'm not used to saying this but P55 is right on this matter.

the "fox doesn't start rookies" myth has been debunked over and over.

does he wait too long to make adjustments? quite often. but just because someone is a rookie doesn't mean they won't get the start. most of the time the rookie, if he is good enough, will either be starting or get significant play time....esp. if they are a early rounder.

. Practice squad?! You f**kin retard. Did you see the press conference after the draft? Hurney and fox we sweating their balls off to get this guy. There is NO WAY hell be on the practice squad bud. True dat about 3rd string and all. They are gunna take there time and do it right with this guy couse he's a hoss

The practice squad remark was hyperbole, are you like 14-years old or something? Fox and Hurney look for a team-first guy in their quarterback and Claussen will have to prove himself to be that before he even sniffs the field. Plus, Moore has to screw up.

Claussen might not start at all this year, and let's hope that's the case. That would mean Moore is the man and can get us the wins. Any change to that and it means that things have gone downhill. To Claussen, well, glad he's come to our practices and wears a jersey, but how bad does he want to be part of the Panthers?

Really? I think Clausen is thrilled to be in Carolina. He's settled into a team that runs the same offense as ND and has a great OL. What more could a rookie want (except more money of course).

DeAngelo sat pretty much 2 years behind Foster...despite injuries.

people seem to forget that he wasn't nearly as good in 08 as 06 and 07.

In 06 he missed 4 games which derailed his developement a little. He also danced around a lot. He wasn't as decisive in his cuts either. He tended to dance around like most rookie RB's do.

He didn't really start to look like starting material until the latter half of 07. He probably could have started earlier and done better, but I don't think it was that outrageous to have him splitting carries.

You say he sat but really he was splitting carries about 2 to 1. That's not that bad.

He was clearly better...we were decimated at the Oline during those years as well, but you cannot say that he should've been in the 1 side of the 2:1 ratio.

If Moore struggles, I think you'll see Clausen pretty quick this year. I don't know if Fox prefers veterans, or he is just intensly loyal to the players that produce for him. The good/bad news is that I don't think he particularly loyal to Matt Moore.
