Since the NFL aligned in the current divisions, teams have finished the regular season with 10 or more wins 83 times by my count. 79 went to the play-offs. 79/83 = 95.2%. Teams have won 9 or more games on 116 occasions in the same time frame, 100 of them making the play-offs. 100/116 = 86.2%

Teams with exactly 10 wins have happened 25 times with only 3 missing the play-offs. 22/25 = 88%. Exactly 9 wins has happened 33 times, 21 of them making postseason. 21/33 = 63.6%.

What's all this mean? JUST WIN.

The problem we have, is the same that I see the Denver Broncos having. They can be 10-6 or 9-7 and still have a very strong chance of not making the dance. We are in a division that the Saints will be very heavily favored to win, (same with Denver and San Diego) and so we will have to get a WC to get in.

Personally I still see us winning 6-8 games this year.

You guys have a solid defense and an elite ground game. Add to that an 8-8 schedule and I don't think it's unrealistic at all.

I....don't know. I hope, I wish we make the playoffs. But realistically....There is one spot we've gotten better in and practically our entire defense got downgraded(and don't forget we weren't exactly "great" at defense last year either). Top Pass Rusher; gone, Starting OLB; gone, Strong Safety; gone, Dline; in shambles, need I go on? If by some miracle we do make it, we can't really compete with great teams.

We have a MONSTER rushing game, and moore+smitty in the passing game. But we're going to need every bit of everyone on offense to stay in the game with our defense giving up 20+ points every game due to the huge holes in the line, and linebacker(our safeties might actually improve at least in the passing game).

Seeing that we have a weak schedule, I would say that it's realistic.
