I Think Ashton Jeanty will be the Pick at #8

Brooks has torn his ACL twice and will probably sit out 2025.  He wont be the guy Carolina thought they were drafting for awhile, maybe never.  They can hope for the best but need to prepare for the worst.  They want that 2 punch attack at RB to make it easier on Young.  Jeanty is a special RB and would give Carolina something they dont have much of, speed.  A split backfield with him and Chubba would give defenses nightmares and open up the field for young to pass as defenses stack the line to stop the run.  Carolina needs to draft defense but the draft is loaded with defense this year especially in the later rounds.

No way in hell they take a RB at 8. Hurney, is that you?

I almost did a thread in which Dan Morgan had to step down and Marty herniay came back for a 3rd trip.....

Now here's the "M. Night " Shyamalan twist, this pick would be successful and continue his first round brilliance. I need a strong drink....

    • I'd suggest watching Tyler Warren's film before getting caught up on his position. TE is a versatile and important piece of an offense, especially a run-first offense that leans on play action. We need talent all over the roster, not optimal positional value.
    • This is the guy I've been saying we need. If he's still there at 8 sprint to the podium and call his name. We have a lot, a lot of needs on defense, and we aren't going to get it fixed in the first pick. Grab Warren at 8 and then go straight to defense from there on out, this is a deep class for DT and Edge.  Warren will be a generational talent at TE, a game breaker, something we desperately need. And if we don't snag him, then New Orleans will with the very next pick and we will have to face the guy twice a year from here on out.
