Damn. Wonder if they're credible? If that's the case then Jalon Walker moves to #1 for me.

2 alleged incidents at 2 separate places, I am sure teams will get to the bottom of it but thats a no for me dawg.  Get the culture, leader and captain from the Georgia defense

If they miss out on him they still have a shot at 2 or 3 possible day 1 starters. I'm not ruling out the possibility of trading down however.

I am becoming more and more leery of that option, just get a blue chip player, lord knows we need all we can get

I'm against it also. To me it's like trading a quarter for a dime and a nickel in this draft.

My preference in order:

Mike Green Edge
Jalon Walker LB
Tetairoa McMillan WR
Will Johnson CB
TRADE BACK
James Pearce Edge
Tyler Warren TE
Will Cambell OT
Mykel Williams Edge
Malaki Starks S
Ashton Jeanty RB

Pretty much my thoughts although I want nothing to do with a first round RB

You would be surprised at how scouts and teams see his skills. His versatility at LB and edge make him a very valuable asset. There's a small chance he may not be there when the Panthers are in the clock.

If there's a run at QB the Panthers are sitting pretty. If teams are smart and pass until round 2 then the Panthers may be screwed. Pray for much stupidity in the top 6 picks.

His stats are against the absolute best teams in the country

"The 6-2, 245-pound junior was a problem for offenses as an off-the-ball linebacker and as a ferocious pass rusher," Feldman wrote. "His closing speed is scary. Walker won the Butkus Award as the nation’s top linebacker after making 60 tackles and 10.5 TFLs and notching 6.5 sacks. He dominated Texas in two games, producing six combined TFLs and four sacks

He's basically great value Abdul Carter

If I had to say who the panthers would pick at this point relasitically, it would be Walker, McMillan, or Will Johnson IMO

I think those 3 may be available at 8. Although I'm less sure on Walker as we get close to the Combine.

I think he's the pick barring something crazy happening in front of us. This is a tough draft to read who the actual top 10 are. Walker could go before we have a shot at him or we have the choice between him and the Michigan DT. I've also seen him drop all the way to 23. It's anyone's guess.

A choice between Walker and Graham would be tough for me.

If he weighs in at 245 at the combine we may not get a chance to pick him. I've seen him listed as low as 215. I'm going to be looking at the official weigh-in.

    • ound 1, Pick 8: WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona Adding a true dominant X receiver like McMillan would help the Panthers unlock the full potential of 2024 first-round pick Xavier Legette. Despite frequently facing rolled coverage, McMillan still put up elite production in 2024, hauling in 86 catches for 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns. He thrived in contested situations, securing 18 of 32 such targets—often against multiple defenders—while also forcing an impressive 29 missed tackles. Round 2, Pick 58: S Malaki Starks, Georgia Starks' production dipped in 2024, but his coverage performance in 2023 showcased his impact. That season, he allowed just 18 completions on 37 targets while recording three interceptions and seven pass breakups. Round 3, Pick 74: DI Aeneas Peebles, Virginia Tech Peebles pairs his agility and quickness with excellent hand usage, making him a highly effective interior pass rusher. He led all defensive interior players in college football with a 27.3% win rate on true pass sets. Round 4, Pick 109: T Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, Florida Crenshaw-Dickson transferred to Florida from San Diego State for the 2024 season and delivered the best performance of his career, allowing just one sack and no quarterback hits. Round 4, Pick 112: DI Jordan Phillips, Maryland Phillips is a force against the run, recording 20 stops and seven tackles for loss or no gain in 2024. Round 5, Pick 140: LB Kobe King, Penn State King's 89.2 run-defense grade in 2024 ranked fifth among all linebackers in this year's draft class. Round 5, Pick 146: LB Billy Bowman Jr., Oklahoma Bowman has a natural instinct for making plays in coverage, tallying 11 interceptions and 10 forced incompletions over the past three seasons at Oklahoma. Round 5, Pick 163: WR Antwane Wells Jr., Mississippi Wells was a big-play machine in 2024, averaging 19.4 yards per reception. He converted 20 of his 29 catches into first downs, including six touchdowns. Round 7, Pick 228: CB Mac McWilliams, UCF McWilliams transferred to UCF from UAB last year and allowed just 23 receptions for 137 yards on 41 throws into his coverage.
    • Not at #8 for me. He lacks the agility of recent prospects like Bowers, Laporta, and Kincaid. He is a beast, but I don’t think that’s our route with all of our holes. Plus, we have a promising young player already in our TE room.    I’d prefer we sign someone like Austin Hooper to a cheap deal to go along with Sanders and mentor him. Maybe take a shot at someone like Briningstool, Nesbit, Lachey later in the draft.
