Receiver Kenny Moore's effort has him 'in the mix' for Panthers

Whoa a rookie dropped balls in preseason games? No Way. I hope he makes the team but he will be damn lucky if he does. Practice Squad anyone? I think him and Gettis will be fighting hard for the last receiver spot. I wish we were on the Hard Knocks this year, would be a crazy year for it. Would never happen knowing our orginization.

FYI he wasn't a Rookie.

He isn't PS eligible and will get picked up by another team if cut. He is a solid player that just needs a chance. He will never be better than the 3rd option on any team, but he is still serviceable.

Where do you fit him?

Smith, Edwards or LaFell would have to molest a boy scout to get dropped. Jarrett probably gets to play out his contract. Gettis is a big risk to get snatched up if we try to stash him on the PS. At least one WR spot goes towards ST.

Anyways, yeah, if Jarrett sticks I doubt Moore is around.

None of you must've watched any of the preseason games, I was all for him beating out Jarret after training camp, but when preseason came around, he was a huge dissapointment. He has good game speed but horrible hands, he muffed multple kick returns and dropped a poo load of passes...and I never said that Lafell, Edwards, or Gettis was better than him, they are unproven, but he has had the oppurtunity in the NFL and has been worse than Jarret, I said id stick with the rookies never said they were better. Read the post more thoroughly next time before you mix the words up.

its obvious you didnt watch our pre season games. he was the best wr during pre season.caught everything thrown his way, muffed a couple of punts but caught just about every pass.

Two words Taye Biddle.

He is a decent role player nothing more nothing less.

I think alot will ride on who the coaches feel can put in for Smith if he would go down.My guess it would be him or Gettis. They have to keep some speed if Smitty goes down.Only time will tell but I do know he will have to earn it.

I think Kenny Moore's, Dexter Jackson's, and Charly Martin's chances went right out the door when we signed Wallace Wright and then drafted three wide receivers. Wallace Wright has an edge on all these guys because he can play wide receiver as well as be a crucial asset on special teams.

WR Depth Chart

1. Steve Smith

2. Dwayne Jarrett

3. Brandon LaFell

4. Armanti Edwards

5. David Gettis

6. Wallace Wright

Cut

1. Kenneth Moore

2. Charly Martin

3. Dexter Jackson

4. Trent Guy

5. Oliver Young
