Albert Haynesworth Demands Trade; Refuses to attend mandatory minicamp

He is nothing but a bitch.

Steve Smith is more of a man than Hayensworth could ever be.

The only way I see the Panthers taking that bitch, is he gives back 3/4ths of his signing bonus to the redskins, they give him to us for no more than a 4th, and he signs a new contract the has behavior, and attendence clauses, and he signs for half of what he's being paid currently.

But that will never happen cause Jerry Richardson would kick his ass, and tell him to find a home else where.

I like how he took the money this year and now won't play....honestly dude I know this guy is talented as hell and would help our team at the position we need it the most...but this would be like accepting herpes to cure The Clap, sure it burns when we pee now but that poo will go away with the right treatment.

wtf was I talking about there?

We won't pick up Haynesworth no matter what so it is really moot to go on and on. Still his beefs are legitimate. He is a 4-3 tackle who wouldn't do well in a 3-4 system and he knows it. He didn't go to Washington to play the nose and doesn't want to do it now.

He is not the first player to try and force a trade and won't be the last. I can remember several guys doing the same thing over the past few years, Ocho Cinco comes to mind. He knows that he will be highly sought after if they try and trade him and can go to a team that will utilize his talents.

I can understand people thinking he is a whiny crybaby who needs to man up and take his money and play. Personally I think the same thing. Still the precedences have been set over the years and these guys all think the rules doesn't apply to them so I can understand why they believe that they have to right to complain and break contracts and not honor their word.

Welcome to the modern NFL.

no team will give up any high picks for this guy. NO ONE. so its not about the picks. its about his stank ass attitude and piss poor work ethic. redskins have little leverage in a Haynesworth trade.

if the redskins take his bonus then I think they can get 2nd round pick for him.

    • Canales was brought in to fix Bryce. That was how he sold himself. He failed.  the panthers need a new qb, someone to coach him, and someone to build a defensive staff.  Canales has failed at developing a new qb. His big draft project XL is trending towards bust. His entire nfl resume before the panthers was one season as offensive coordinator on a stacked Bucs team, and being on the offensive staff when a 31 year old Geno smith finally put it all together. And he didn’t even pick his offensive coordinator. Assuming evero is gone, who’s he got in that phone to call? What low lvl porn addict evangelical from the bucs is ready to be Peter principled? There is nothing in his coaching history or his current performance that indicates he’s the person to move this team forward. Every other team knew this last cycle (panthers were only interview) and nothing has happened to change that perception   all people like you have is “well you can’t do it again it’s too soon but <random interval of time> will be different.  just pull off the bandage. There’s no reason to let this guy draft “his guy” except people wanting an excuse not to fire him after 2025.
    • Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
    • Surprised this is the only post with this take.  This is like the Rhule kiss of death lol.
