This is my daily driver and it's FWD with a 1.8l four banger, nothing wrong with a quality factory spoiler if you ask me

A spoiler on a front-wheel drive car is pretty much just for looks. If it applies down force, it is actually hindering the drive wheels by creating drag and only making a miniscule difference in handling, if any.

Certainly was not referring to factory spoilers. Although I have never really seen the need for them, other than to add some "lines" to the car.

Also, if you don't race, and I mean really race, you don't need hood pins.
