I'm still wanting to know what the still to be announced PS3 demo that runs tomorrow is for..

So I'm guessing it's something that we have already seen this year. I wouldn't expect to many surprises. Didn't Gran Turismo demo today?

GT will sell so many copies it could never be a failure. I have never been disappointed by one of their games and this time looks like no exception.

Rage looks amazing, that game looks super polished to still be a year out, of course I'm not going to put stock into Bethesda's release dates.

I'm thinking we are going to see some more Twisted Metal today.

Theres always major, I mean Major (GTA, GT5 type stuff) surprises or secret demo's that are never shown to the public at E3. Only to press and they have to keep it under wraps for so long before it can be announced. Some of those games, you won't hear about for another 1-3 months. If it's something major, you might not hear about it till next e3.

This is how you remake a series from boring and old to something new -> give it to the Burnout team and let them remake/ reboot Hot Pursuit.

New Need For Speed: HP

If last year's Need for Speed: Shift rekindled the long-running racing franchise, then Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a full-on resurrection. Criterion, master of the arcade racer as attested by the Burnout games, have been given the keys to EA's series, and the results are incredible – an artful blend of the old and the new, it manages to acknowledge Need for Speed's glorious past while mixing in an inspired level of connectivity.

There's a love of the classic Need for Speeds that's apparent as soon as the demo begins – two Lamborghinis play a lethally fast game of cat and mouse, a Murcielago tailed by a Reventon decked out in black and white cop colours and their pursuit taking them through the verdant Pacific Midwestern roads of the fictional Seacrest County, lined with big firs under a clean blue sky. It's the joy and unfettered beauty of the open road as so wonderfully embodied by the 1994 3DO original, and it's being torn apart by the kind of high speed chase that was a feature of arguably the best instalment since, 2002's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2.

GT5 under the hood.

The game will hit North American stores on November 2, and it will be packed with more than 1,000 cars. That's, er, a lot of cars.

At a presentation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles this week, creator Kazunori Yamauchi went into more detail about Gran Turismo 5, including how all those cars will appear in the game. There are two categories of vehicles in GT5 – Premium and Standard. The majority of the cars (more than 800) fall into the Standard category and are made up largely of the rides that have been included in all past GT games. But that doesn't mean they're simple copies. All are painstakingly modeled to take advantage of the PS3's graphics shader. They also sport physics-based damage modeling, and they'll show scratches, dust and dents collected during races. The Premium cars, of which there are more than 200, will have all those features plus fully rendered interiors and true damage modeling. That means panel separation and deformation – the ugly stuff.

So out of 1000 cars only 200 have full interiors and full damage modeling.

If you're a NASCAR fan, you're in luck. There are nine NASCAR models in the game, and Gran Turismo 5 has incorporated the full rule set from America's favorite motorsport. Not only that, but you'll be able to take NASCAR cars onto non-NASCAR tracks. Always wanted to race Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s car on the Nurburgring? Now's your chance.

With the addition of the PlayStation Eye and a pair of Sony 3D glasses, you'll be able to play the game in 3D and make use of the game's head-tracking system. Move your head, it your perspective will change in the car.

Able to install full games on the 3ds???? No more bringing carts with you or switching them out????

http://ds.ign.com/articles/109/1099734p1.html

But Nintendo may have kept quiet on one of the biggest features straight through E3. Today's Nihon Keizai Shimbun details what appears to be a software install feature for the system.

According to the financial paper, 3DS owners will be able to install software to internal memory. You can install multiple games simultaneously. Doing so will eliminate the need to swap out cartridges when switching games. Instead, you just select your next title from the main system menu.

Staying on the 3ds, here's a graphical comparison of similar ds to 3ds games..

Looks really close to xbox1 visuals on most games, biggest teller is Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
