Fall out New Vegas details.

The New Vegas Strip in the upcoming follow-up to Fallout 3 is a lot like the real Vegas--full of false hope and desperate people. For a world decimated by a nuclear war, New Vegas is about as glitzy as it can get. And that ain't very glitzy. The four major casinos on the Strip offer a quiet oasis from the desolation outside and a brief respite from the war brewing in the expansive desert beyond.

There's a little something for everyone on the Strip. You can see a comic insult show or catch a dance revue, play some casino games (even unique games custom-made for New Vegas), or chat up one of the hookers with a great personality roaming outside. There's The Tops, the Ultra Lux, the Lucky 38, and everyone's favorite sex casino, Gomorrah. Spend big in a casino and you'll get a room comped for being a high roller. But win too much and the pit boss will think you're a cheat and throw you out

So do you not actually heal in MOH, I'm a little confused about the no health pack thing?

From what I understand, there's no health packs or regenerating armor/health. The only way to get a health boost is from one of the killstreak type perks which is a health buffer.

Duez Ex: Human Revolution impressions from E3. It's an early build of the game...

We'll have to wait to see where Adam's adventure takes him next, but it looks to be worth being patient for. The build we saw wasn't extremely polished, but it made it very clear that the development team understands the franchise and wants to stay true to its roots. No release date is yet announced for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but you should expect to see this single-player-only, role-playing/shooter/stealth hybrid on shelves sometime in 2011. It will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PC.

Castlevania: Lord of Shadow Hands on from E3

Up until this point, we've only seen trailer of the latest installment of the Castlevania franchise, but we recently had a chance to go hands-on with the E3 demo on the show floor. But just as a quick recap: In development at Mercury Steam (with some assistance from Kojima Productions), Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a reboot of sorts for the classic franchise as it features new characters and, most importantly, 3D action. But whereas previous 3D Castlevanias fell short in terms of delivering the kind of action and adventure that fans of the series expect, Lords of Shadow looks like it just might change all of that.

Project Dust update

http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6265811/ubisoft-unveils-project-dust

Chahi says the game is a spiritual successor to Peter Molyneux's PC god game Populous and is a result of a "technological breakthrough."

In the game, players become God and are tasked with saving humanity from the ubiquitous environmental disasters, which include tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, wildfires, and volcanic eruptions. Players will achieve this by manipulating water, land, vegetation, and lava, as if "playing sandcastles on the beach."

Project Dust is slated for a spring 2011 release on Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and the PC.

Metroid Other M hands on from E3.

Metroid: Other M is finally coming this August, and we had another chance to play it at this year's E3. Starting from somewhere around a half hour into the game, I took Samus through her paces, blasting aliens, dropping bombs, and toying around with the game's unique control scheme.

So you are saying it might be more realistic and I might not just drop down with full use of my weapon still or poop out a live grenade when I die?

Sounds interesting.

Peter Molyneux's revolutionary? Milo game preview.

Now before I explain exactly how my experience with Milo worked, let me first direct you to our video of Milo and the Natal camera from Microsoft's Monday press conference. That clip will give you a clear picture of what the interaction with the character is supposed to be like, and help you understand why the validity of the demo has been in question ever since. After all, a game that can recognize the player by sight, call that player by name, and have a true interactive conversation with whoever is using it is quite a stretch of the imagination.

Now it was finally my turn, and luckily I got a chance to experience the best part -- direct speech with Milo. Molyneux asked me to say my name clearly in front of the screen and then take a step back. I did both and then when Peter asked me to take a step forward and I did, Milo immediately recognized me -- "Oh, Hello Jeremy!" Milo said before hopping out of his swing and walking up to greet me. Next he quipped, "I see you're wearing blue today," in reaction to the blue shirt that I had on.

Hands on with NHL 2011 at E3.

I was certainly impressed with the new physics capabilities in my first NHL 11 demo, and that feeling only grew once I got into a real game. Checks look fantastic, especially when the boards get involved. Players realistically roll and glance off of the boards, depending on the strength of the impact I was able to land. But the physics weren't confined to just interactions between players and the environment, they also seemed to perform well when two players collided on open ice. Everything feels like a real object with very little clipping taking place. One time I upended a player, only to have his leg get caught for a split-second under my arm. Not in an unnatural way, either. Just about everything looked exactly as it should.
