All out brawls are rare in every sport.. even hockey.

Just like in any other team sport, yes, when players get in a real fight (as oppose to a push, punch and a couple insults which usually happens) their teammates will support them.

Most people don't brawl though, because it's stupid. Which is why you never see it.

You see it a lot in baseball and college football. Would love to see America go Wrestlemania on someone if we were losing and it was definitely our last game. The bad boys of soccer...Americans would rally behind them, big time.

I think you see it in baseball because it's traditional for teams to come flying out of the dugout like wildmen to show their dedication to a teammate. Aside from that, it doesn't happen with professionals often, their jobs are on the line.
