Killzone 3 gameplay trailer (Oh my)

Game looks sick, as the second one did. Hopefully they shore up the controls some and make them a little more responsive. I like the way they tried to make it feel like you couldn't just sling your gun completely around in an instant but it was extreme overkill till it was patched IMO. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone playing online post patch because they all gave up in a couple of days.....

I'm well into the Killzone 3 campaign and I have to say it puts every other FPS I've ever played to shame. It's a thrilling experience with a nice balance of shooting hordes of enemies and on the rail parts. Sure this is the composition of every FPS game but the graphics, sounds and epicness of it all make it more enjoyable than the rest.

Haven't tried it online yet but I did do botzone and that was really fun.

seems to be lots of bugs & glitches still going on with multiplayer. I know I gained a level and didn't get my unlock points, several others have the same problem. Not getting credit for ribbons, trophies, etc. Went and picked up Gran Turismo 5 and havent touch KZ3 much since.

anyone tried it with the move controller?

Yeah, that's what I'm playing it with. It's really fun! getting head shots is so much more natural than moving analog sticks. It makes you see what the PC crowd loves about the precise control of a mouse.

It takes a bit of getting use to moving around but once you do it's great experience.

I played the demo with a regular controller, and liked it. I love those futuristic shooters. I'm really wanting to get move software and this game. I think Deadspace 2 is the same way isn't it?

How much for move hardware and the blaster?

    • Same... With the personnel the Niners had, that defense could have been historically good in the right hands. Under Wilks they were certainly good, they didn't quite rise to that level. Honestly, I see Wilks kinda like I see Rivera: fantastic person, decent head coach. Skill wise, phenomenal DB coach, so-so DC. His greatest strength is his leadership. Hard to find many better in that department. In the Xs and Os / execution area though, not as good. Bottom Line: Wilks is the sort of coach that needs a staff that excels in those aspects of the game where he's weaker. But, like Rivera, I don't know that he scouts assistants very well. That as much as anything might be why he's not in the NFL now.
    • Clearly the best outcome for us is a Giants W. A spot or two difference in the 4th round is inconsequential. Just look at the trade value charts. A spot or two at the top of the 1st means a LOT. A spot or two in the mid-rounds? Virtually nothing.
    • Agree. I don't think I have ever heard him say anything positive, at any time, about the Panthers. Best expectation is no mention at all.
