Yeah my deductible is 1000. I told them I didn't want it done unless they could take a chunk off. I'm also the attic vents taken out and a ridge vent installed.

These guys are crazy hard workers. Just saw a guy hauling the old singles away with a wheelbarrow and he was literally running as fast as he could.

Hate to say it but what they will get done in one day would take us lazy American's a week to do. We would say it was too hot and call it a day by 11am aftter showing up around 9:30am.

I used to help Dan shingle roofs, we used to quit in the hottest part of the day otherwise it would tear up the shingles. We'd come back later after it had "cooled" off and work until the sun went down.

My dad actually started roofing around that age, and he's still doing it at the age of 48. Hell, my grandfather still helps, and he's in his late 60s and in the latter stages of emphysema.

I helped my dad roof for about a year. Most exhausting, grueling work I've ever done.
