A Cautionary Tale; RE: Davis ACL

Some of you may remember the 2002 breakout season of Mark Fields. He played lights out and we expected to have the formidable trio of Fields, Morgan, and Witherspoon as our starters in 2003.

Fields was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease before the 03 season and was put on IR. His spot was filled by Greg Favors, who many considered a scrub, and all the chicken littles threw themselves out the nearest window.

We did ok in 2003:cheers2:

regardless of who plays for TD, the trainers and coaches are at fault. they have the final say if TD can practice or not, they should of had him sit and do stretches and other drills but they fuged up! now the panthers have 2 move on and figure out who will play in his spot, i wold rather have james anderson play at WLB and have connor/norwood/ williams fight it out for the other LB position. TD has no1 else 2 blame but himself and the trainers it sux, ya but we will be fine becuz it happened in june and not in november again. as long as the players we have know the system and know how 2 go 2 the ball with speed like our D consiists of doing then we will have no problem. someone else mentioned that if beason williams or kalil not sure but if these guys got injured then yea we would be in trouble, maybe not so much for kalil even tho hes a beast. but when you have a guy like beason who is the next coming of ray lewis if not better IMO ( stats dont lie) beason makes every1 around him play with fire like he does, if any1 looks at vides of our team they play with fire becuz of beason. we will be fine and make the playoffs every1 is hating on us but this injury wont stop us, it sux cuz td migt not be a panther but we have beason and a great young group of talent. so sorry for the long story ha, good luck 2 greece in the 2010 world cup and hopefully the panthers dont get hit wit the injury bug like last year
