Bojangles or Cookout?

I'll trade our Popeye's for a Bojangles'. I moved up to NYC last summer and found a Bojangles in a grimey area of Brooklyn, went there to discover that one day was the last day it was going to be open. Popeye's is decent, I dont really eat it, nor Bojangles that much really, but do fiend for their stuff sometimes. I really miss Chic-fil-a dammit.

There's a Chik-fil-A in one of the NYU buildings. Or you could go to Jersey for it.

But I agree, I'd trade Popeye's for Bojangle's in a heartbeat. Not a huge KFC fan either.

There was a place called Texas Fried Chicken (or something like that) in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn, and it was awesome.

I just remember that I tried Popeyes when I lived in Louisiana, and their chicken was amazing! I've been craving it ever since I left there.

Bojangles makes those good cinnamon dessert biscuit, and the chicken's decent. I chose Cookout because theres more options, and I can get 2 meats in my meal. A burger, chicken nuggets, and fries...and its not expensive at all. Plus, they stay open late. So, when Im coming in from the club I can stop by there.

Cookout. You can get a corndog as a side item.

I've never eaten at Cookout since I don't live in the area. However, any place that you can get a corndog as a side item sounds like a pretty damn good place to eat.

Cookout, no question. It's right up there with Taco Bell as far as fast food value is concerned. A "Cookout tray" gets you a burger, 2 side items and a milkshake for about six bucks.

I will say however that it doesn't get much better than Bojangles' buffalo bites.

Screw the decision making, give me a cajun filet biscuit, a picnic sized season fry, and legendary sweet tea from Bo-hangles, then I'll head to Cookout for the summertime favorite, the watermelon shake.

After taking the wife out for this smorgasboard, I'm definitely getting laid.

Cajun filet biscuits from Bojangles are delicious, but Cook-Out is better overall. Much larger menu, it's extremely cheap for a solid amount of food and it's open late. Nothing better than a burger, quesadilla, hush puppies and a milk shake for six bucks.

Cookout burgers are consistently dried-out and inedible, their fries are so-so, and they don't serve Carolina Packers (red) hotdogs. The only thing of value at Cookout would be the Cheerwine float (which is delicious I'll admit). Bojangles in a landslide. The seasoning alone would make this a lock.

How about price, value, convenience, size of menu, the milkshake factor, etc? Taste isn't the only criteria.
