He fell to the turf Tuesday while backpedaling and grabbed the same knee in which he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in November. Starting cornerback Richard Marshall signed his one-year, $1.759 million tender.

Knew I read it from somewhere earlier.

Yes because teams are lining up to sign players just recovering from ACL injuries.

He shouldn't have been out there in the first place.

You're a dumbass.

poo happens. I'm sure the PROFESSIONALS on the Panthers staff would have held him out if they felt the need. You have no insight to provide here. Just wanting to point fingers when you don't know what you're talking about.

You act like he's been out of surgery for 2 weeks and they just let him hop up outta the wheelchair and go dancing down to the field because he said he felt good.

And how to do you know what too soon is? Did you preform the surgery? Are you on the Panthers training staff? No.

You're not even pointing fingers at the right people. You want to blame Fox, but it's the trainers who have the ability to hold him out of practice.

It's pretty clear that nobody thought there was a problem. And I'm sure if Davis felt like there was going to be a problem, he certainly wouldn't risk re-injury just to participate in OTAs. Like I said, poo happens. You're proving your knowledge on anything isn't worth a blood nickel.

I know Davis isn't super natural. His ACL isn't made from some alien or supernatural tendon or whatever. He's got the same tendons just as any other person. You always hear torn ACLs that require surgery take a good 9 months to fully recover. There were reports out how quickly Davis was recovering. To me, they should've been extra cautious bringing him back.

Yes Im a dumbass for thinking Fox should've been cautious bringing back Davis so soon.

He was cautious it was a non contact drill and he was backpedaling and tried to break and tore it again, it was a freak accident just like the first time. When I tore my ACL I had the surgery and was running and playing golf 3 months later. Now I know recreational golf is a whole lot different from NFL OTA's but playing golf does put a lot of torque and strain on the knee and every orthopedic surgeon will tell you the knee should be stronger because the ligament they use to replace the ACL is stronger and the real threat is tearing the ACL in the other knee because in your head you try and protect the surgically repaired knee. I am sure the doctor released him to participate and Fox listened to the doctor so how about we not blame Fox or Hurney. I hate it for TD rehabbing a ACL injury is no fun and the kids has to do it twice in 10 months.

I know he injured it initially last year without contact, but I still don't think having him run no contact drills after he ran an amazing 40 counts as bringing him back to soon. He felt good, the trainers felt he looked fine, and he hurt himself running.

Why does someone always have to be at fault? Why can't we ever just chalk it off as an unfortunate accident?

I'm sorry. I didn't realize the Panthers were running Oklahomas yesterday.
