This is some heartbreaking news and i hate it for Thomas Davis,the team and the fans.

I am hoping we will be solid with Beason on the outside with Conner in the middle and Anderson on the other side. We need to worry about depth though. I would feel more comfortable with those guys in than moving Beason back to the middle and playing the unknown Williams. Conner would be solid in the middle, and Beason would be solid on the outside. Just doing some random thinking,while i am still stunned by the loss of Davis.

So he comes back 7 months after tearing his ACL, when normally it takes a good 9 to fully recover, and you don't wait at least until training camp comes to see how he holds up before signing him?

Do you not understand how Restricted Free Agency works?

If we had not tendered him, he would have been free to leave for no compensation.

We did not sign him to a new long-term contract.....we just gave him the one year tender.

Would it have been smarter to NOT tender him and watch him sign elsewhere?

I know that this sucks that he got hurt before playing a single snap this season. But, to bad mouth the FO for this one is ridiculous.
