Moose to pursue broadcasting?

Muhsin Muhammad is going to camp, but it might be a sign that his football career is over.

Muhammad has spent most of his career playing receiver for the Panthers. He’s 37 and a free agent and the Panthers have made it clear they don’t want him back. It doesn’t sound like a bunch of other teams are lining up for Muhammad.

He’ll be taking part in the NFL Broadcast Boot Camp later this month. Broadcasting could be Muhammad’s future. I’ve known Muhammad throughout his career. Didn’t always think he was the most genuine guy around. But he speaks well and has good insight on the game -- that’s half the battle in broadcasting.

that would be cool. he's been around the league long enough for the name-recognition to garner a decent spot.

JR should get him for pre-season. Having Moose and Beuerlein for color commentary would be awesome. Especially since the passing game will be under so much scrutiny.
